We are really proud of our ice cream
Our ice cream was born from a scrupulous research to find the right balance among the doses of all the ingredients. Because ice cream, is firstly made with paper, pen and a lot of research on quality raw materials, and then with machines. We toured Italy, from the Langhe to the Amalfi Coast, passing through the small village of Calizzano, to find the right suppliers for our ingredients. It is periodically subjected to microbiological checks by the most qualified institutes - in order to guarantee maximum food safety - and at the same time we have reduced sugars and drastically eliminated some fats, to give you a healthier and more digestible ice cream. There is still a long way to go, but the secret is always in the balance.
We have brought all food additives to zero! Some of these superfluous, others harmful to health.
We have always had our roots in the gastronomic and peasant culture from which we are inspired every day. This is what we thought about (and not only following the Km0 fashion) when we decided to create our own orchard in front of a land a few meters from our historic headquarters in Almenno San Bartolomeo. Here we check and grow the fruit for our ice cream and, if it does not come directly from our land, it comes from farmers who have made ethics and seriousness their guiding principle.
In order to ensure the quality of the milk, we must know what the cows that produce it eat, be able to visit the farm where they live and look at the farmer who brings it to us every morning. For the ice cream of Porto Cervo we chose the Sardinian plant of Arborea, for the one of Bergamo the Castelli Muriel farm. Here the cows are fed according to the traditional method: grass, hay and pasture from June to October, supplemented by a nutrition, based on certified soy and corn, for the rest of the year.
Our patent since 2005, today it is distributed in the best Italian and foreign ice cream parlors, and appreciated by many of our colleagues. From the need to propose a new way to enjoy ice cream, the original "Pasqualina" package was born, a take-away tray that bears our name. Each scoop is separated from the other, avoiding unwanted mixing and giving a palette of flavors to be savored. We are aimed at ice cream lovers, those who want to enjoy quality, but also those who show food intolerances or allergies. Convenient to use, Pasqualina can also become a completely original way of presenting ice cream directly on the table. From the freezer to the dining room, the new tray offers the opportunity to play with your guests with an assortment of tastes for all palates. Today we are proud to supply various ice cream colleagues, in Italy and around the world, who have chosen our packaging to give even greater value to their ice cream.
